Last week, our Burlingame showroom transformed into a vibrant hub of design inspiration as we had the honor of hosting ASID’s California Peninsula Chapter’s annual Design Expo. This much-anticipated event brought together over 40 leading brands and vendors in the interior design space. From stunning surfaces to curated furnishings, vendors showcased the latest in paint, textiles, lighting, hardware, and beyond, making this expo a one-stop shop for designers looking to stay ahead of the curve. Attendees had the chance to explore new product launches, gain insider knowledge from industry experts, and connect with fellow creatives in a setting designed to spark fresh ideas. With nearly 200 attendees, the showroom was abuzz with creativity, networking, and invaluable industry insights.

CEU: The Secret to Lasting Elegance

Beyond the visual feast of the expo, education was a key component of the night. Our own Juan Vasquez, co-owner of All Natural Stone, took the stage alongside renowned stone care specialist Dave “The Marble Guy” Bonasera to present a new CEU course titled Lasting Elegance: Understanding the Importance of Sealing Stone. With natural stone continuing to be a staple in luxury design, this insightful session offered designers crucial knowledge on protecting and preserving stone surfaces, ensuring their longevity and enduring beauty. Attendees left with a deeper understanding of sealing techniques, the differences between various sealers, and best practices for preserving the natural elegance of stone materials.

Luxury Lounge: A Parisian Perspective

Adding an extra layer of indulgence to the evening, the Luxury Lounge provided an intimate setting for deeper conversations on design. Interior designer Lisa Staprans of Staprans Design transported guests to Paris with her recap of Déco Off 2025, sharing her insights and takeaways from one of the world’s most prestigious design showcases. Following her talk, she held a book signing for her latest work, The Soul of Design, offering guests the opportunity to take home a piece of her wisdom and artistic vision.

Sips, Bites & Buzz-Worthy Moments

No industry event is complete without a touch of indulgence, and this night was no exception. A stylish bar, generously sponsored by Marblus, kept the evening flowing with curated refreshments, while a fabulous coffee bar, sponsored by Miele, provided the perfect pick-me-up for guests as they explored the latest trends and connected with industry peers.The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as designers, vendors, and industry leaders exchanged ideas, discovered new inspirations, and celebrated the artistry of design.
