The Art of Organic Modernity

For their Lilac Project, the team set out to reimagine the heart of the home—the kitchen. The goal? Maximize functionality, enhance flow, and create a light-filled sanctuary that exudes understated luxury. The result is a space that balances refinement with warmth, modernity with timelessness, and practicality with artistry—all centered around a breathtaking material selection.

Designing the space meant working with the home’s natural strengths—soaring 11-foot ceilings, stunning natural light, and a connection to the outdoors. The team squared off archways for a more modern, expansive feel, reworked the layout for optimal storage, and selected a serene, organic color palette inspired by the landscape beyond.

But no dream kitchen is complete without the perfect surface, and for this space, Taj Mahal Quartzite from All Natural Stone was the undeniable star.

  • Brass hardware & lighting – Because every great design needs a little shimmer.

  • Textural elements – A custom plastered range hood and natural linen counter stools for an organic, lived-in feel.
