Meet Noël Yeh, the creative force behind Atelier Noël, a San Francisco-based boutique design studio known for blending timeless elegance with a fresh, modern edge. Noël’s work isn’t just about making beautiful spaces—it’s about crafting homes that truly reflect her clients’ lives and personalities.
From Fashion to Interiors
Noël’s path to interior design wasn’t your typical story. After earning her degree in Business Marketing from Boston College, she worked in retail merchandising for luxury fashion brands. But her creative instincts pulled her toward interiors, where she could shape entire environments rather than just wardrobes. She dove into studying Architecture and Interior Design at UCLA and UC Berkeley, gaining the skills to turn big design dreams into reality.
Before launching Atelier Noël, Noël cut her teeth at top design firms, mastering everything from managing budgets to working with complex layouts. That experience shows in every project she takes on—her designs are as functional as they are stunning.
A Masterpiece in Russian Hill
One of Noël’s standout projects is a chic pied-à-terre in San Francisco’s Russian Hill. Small spaces demand big creativity, and Noël delivered. The Great Room’s bold fireplace, clad in leathered Titanium quartzite from All Natural Stone, is a showstopper. The stone’s textured finish adds depth and warmth, perfectly complementing the home’s clean lines and custom cabinetry.
Installing the massive slab—hoisted up four stories—was no small feat, but the payoff was worth it. "It’s a bold statement piece that still feels natural in the space," Noël explains. "It set the tone for the entire condo."
